Even when your device has afingerprint sensor it is stillpossible that your device is notsupported due to limitations ofthe device. - A notification isasking for a backup password. Whatshould I do? This is a securityfeature from the system(it is not apart of FingerSecurity but fromSamsung’s firmware). When you scanyour fingerprint too many timeswithout identification then thesystem will block the sensor and askfor your backup password. Thebackup password was specified duringthe registration of yourfingerprints(this might not be the same asyour alternativepassword for FingerSecurity). You have to enteryour backuppassword else you can’t use the fingerprint sensor. - Ican’tremember my backup password. Unfortunately there is no way toresetthe backup password when the sensor is blocked by the system.Theonly solution is performing a hard reset. - FingerSecurity usesalot of battery after updating. Please restart your device.ThenFingerSecurity will work normal again and the battery usagewilldrop.
